Key Responsibilities:

Review ETL requirements, data models, and mapping documents.
Design, develop, and execute test cases for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Validate data accuracy and completeness between source and target systems.
Perform data reconciliation, data quality checks, and back-end testing.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Perform regression testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Automate ETL testing where applicable using SQL, Python, or tools like Informatica DVO, QuerySurge, or Talend.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and data architects to resolve issues.
Create and maintain testing documentation and test reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in ETL testing or data warehouse testing.
Strong SQL skills for writing complex queries to validate data.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
Experience testing data in relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and data modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
Experience with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, etc.) is a plus.
Knowledge of data quality and data governance concepts.
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
