Estimation Engineer

As a Sr. Engineer Estimation in the Electronic Manufacturing industry, your role involves analyzing Customer RFQs, reviewing BOM components, working on material costing, and prefinalizing quotations for customers. You will communicate with end clients to understand project requirements and coordinate with the Engineering/Design team to ensure timely completion of quotations. Negotiating with suppliers for pricing and terms, maintaining relationships with suppliers, and developing new suppliers for projects will be crucial. Close coordination with Sales and Purchase teams to enhance the quote-winning ratio is essential. Additionally, preparing work reports and conducting monthly reviews with the department head are part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze Customer RFQs and review BOM components - Work on material costing and prefinalize quotations - Communicate with end clients and coordinate with the Engineering/Design team - Negotiate with suppliers for pricing and terms - Maintain relationships with suppliers and develop new suppliers - Coordinate with Sales and Purchase teams to improve quote-winning ratio - Prepare work reports and conduct monthly reviews with the department head Qualifications Required: - Previous work experience as an Estimation Engineer or Purchase Engineer in EMS/Electronics company - Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with USA customers - Good knowledge of Electronics component supplier base (local and overseas) and sourcing practices - Understanding of complete supply chain procedures - Analytical skills to create costing reports and conduct price analyses - Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel and Outlook - Ethical conduct and ability to work well in a team In addition to the above details, the benefits include: - Food provided - Health insurance - Paid sick time - Provident Fund This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule.
