ESL Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified ESL Trainer with a Master’s degree in Linguistics to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of teaching experience in ESL or related fields, with a strong understanding of second language acquisition and modern teaching methodologies. The trainer will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating English language training sessions tailored to non-native English speakers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver interactive ESL training sessions for learners at varying levels of proficiency.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and activities aligned with curriculum standards.
• Assess students' progress and language proficiency using formative and summative assessments.
• Provide feedback and support to help learners improve their English communication skills.
• Use technology and digital platforms to enhance learning and engagement.
• Maintain student records and prepare reports as needed.
• Participate in curriculum review and development activities.
• Collaborate with academic teams to improve training outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Linguistics (Mandatory).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in teaching ESL or English language training.
• Excellent command of English—both written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of second language acquisition theories and instructional strategies.
• Ability to engage learners from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
• Proficient in using digital tools for language instruction (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, Moodle).

Preferred Skills:

• TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification is a plus.
• Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning.
• Exposure to online/blended learning environments.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills.
