ESG Engine Core Engineer

Role Overview: As an ESG Engine Core Engineer at DWS India (P) Ltd., you will be a part of the DWS ESG Engine team, working on the technical backbone of the ESG Engine to empower business engineering and support the investment process. Your role will involve maintaining and enhancing the ESG Engine's technical framework, building tools for change and release management, and collaborating with algorithmic engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain the technical backbone of the ESG Engine (SAS, Perl, Python) - Ensure a healthy framework for business engineering - Maintain and enhance Domain Specific Languages for business logic - Support algorithmic engineers in using the languages - Build and maintain tools for change and release management Qualifications Required: - Advanced coding experience in at least one of Perl, Python, SAS, or similar language - Experience in professional software development, preferably in data/scientific programming - Basics in compiler design / theoretical computer science - Masters degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) - Proficiency in MS-Office - Strong analytical skills and mindset with an accuracy/quality-first attitude Additional Details: DWS India (P) Ltd., a subsidiary of DWS Group GmbH & Co.
