ERP Functional Consultant (Baan V or Infor LN) - IT

As an ERP Functional Consultant (Baan V / Infor LN) at Flex located in Chennai, your role will involve working closely with extraordinary teams to build great products and contribute to the company's growth. Here is a breakdown of what to expect in this position: Role Overview: - Create specifications for the development process, focusing on applications within Baan V/Infor LN/Mule API. - Support developers in implementing solutions based on requirements and specifications. - Assist developers with functional queries during the development phase of any Infor ERP solutions. - Conduct testing and documentation of software solutions to ensure proper functionality. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements. - Prepare process documentation of Baan V/Infor LN/Integration solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues or requests arising from LN/Baan applications. - Conduct AS-IS & TO-BE analysis of Infor LN/Baan5 solutions requiring development. - Share knowledge and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within or across peers. Key Responsibilities: - Bachelors or Masters degree in IT or related fields is required. - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in ERP and 2-3 years of experience in Baan/Infor LN. - Good knowledge of Infor LN/Baan5 logistics modules such as Order Management, Warehousing, Planning, Procurement, and Finance. - Experience in Integration testing between ERP & Middleware. - Ability to write functional specifications for the development of Baan5/Infor LN finance solutions. - Strong communication skills to convey complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences. - Self-teaching abilities and a desire to continuously learn. - Aptitude in understanding both the business and IT sides in problem-solving. - Day shift timings are from 8am-5pm / 11am-8pm. Qualifications Required: - Knowledge of one or more modules in Infor LN/Baan5 is desirable. - Experience in ERP as an end user or consultant. - Testing of solutions (unit & regression). - Troubleshoot ERP anomalies and process issues.
