Equity Research Analyst - Healthcare Sector

Role Overview: As a Research Analyst / Senior Research Analyst at our leading sell-side research firm, you will be responsible for executing research on a designated sector/geography. Your role will involve building and updating company and industry models, creating and maintaining databases, contributing to regular research publications, and carrying out sector analysis to develop investment themes and ideas. Additionally, you will be expected to stay updated on the latest developments in the companies under coverage and the sector, incorporating these insights into your research publications. Your work may also involve conducting independent company-specific, economic, or trend analysis, publishing written articles and research reports, and responding to client inquiries within your designated coverage areas. This role may offer you the opportunity to travel onsite, collaborate closely with the onshore team, and gain insight into the investment decision-making process. Key Responsibilities: - Build and update company and industry models - Create and maintain databases using data from various sources - Work on regular research publications such as earnings previews, reviews, event updates, and flash notes - Contribute research ideas for thematic publications - Conduct sector analysis and formulate investment themes/ideas - Stay informed about the latest developments in covered companies and sectors - Conduct independent company-specific, economic, or trend analysis - Publish written articles and research reports summarizing analysis and findings - Develop and publish industry forecasts (subject to review) - Write analytical articles with minimal supervision - Respond to client inquiries within designated coverage areas - Enhance research skills to formulate investment thesis and unique research ideas Qualifications Required: - MBA (Finance) or Chartered Accountant with 1-5 years of prior experience - Pursuing or cleared the CFA certification - Prior experience in Equity Research, specifically covering the healthcare sector Additional Details: N/A,
