Equity Research Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental analysis of companies, including business model evaluation, industry analysis, and competitive positioning.
  
• Build and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, relative valuation, etc.) to forecast company earnings and valuation.
  
• Track sector developments, macroeconomic trends, and regulatory changes that may impact coverage companies.
  
• Write and publish research reports, earnings previews/reviews, and investment theses with actionable insights.
  
• Interact with company management, attend earnings calls, investor presentations, and industry conferences.

• Support institutional clients and internal stakeholders with timely data and analysis.
  
• Monitor and update investment recommendations based on news, results, and valuation metrics.
  
• Collaborate with sales, trading, and portfolio management teams to support decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, or financial analysis.
  
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, FactSet).
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  
• High attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities.
