Job Description

As an Equity Advisor, your primary responsibilities will include: - Acquiring Large Trader Clients with high margin. - Executing transactions in Equities (Cash and Derivatives), Currency, and Commodities. - Ensuring efficient and prompt management of orders based on customer requests. - Generating leads and selling/advising third party products like Health Insurance, SIPs, Life Insurance, and Mutual funds. - Coordinating day-to-day activities with RMS, Activation Team, Surveillance, and various other departments for the smooth functioning of the branch. - Handling day-to-day approvals with respect to limits and commercials. - Shifting offline customers to online. To excel in this role, you will need a strong understanding of equity markets, basic knowledge of options and derivatives, meticulousness, pro-activeness, ability to work under pressure, and superior communication skills. Comfort with OMNESYS, ODIN, NEAT, BOLT is highly preferable. The ideal candidate should be a Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of dealing/execution and acquisition experience of large Trader clients in the broking industry. Possession of NISM VIII Series certification in Capital Markets/Derivatives is mandatory per Exchange regulations. Key Result Areas (KRAs) for this role include: 1. Acquiring new customers and generating broking revenues as per targets. 2. Strictly following the Deal Desk Process, including operating the Trading software for BSE, NSE, MCX, NCDEX, handling trading accounts of clients, executing orders as per client requests, ensuring documentation formalities like KYC, and profiling new clients with all necessary details. 3. Actively participating in daily research calls and keeping all customers updated with In-house research recommendations only. 4. Cautioning clients against positional losses as per research and risk recommendations, and minimizing losses to customers. 5. Maintaining a symbiotic relationship with all internal stakeholders such as RMS, Surveillance, funds, and Ops teams for the resolution of all trade and funds related issues. 6. Ensuring settlement of daily obligations and advising clients on their margins limits, mark to market losses, brokerages, margins available, etc. 7. Strictly adhering to all risk and surveillance and Deal desk processes. 8. Encouraging and facilitating clients to migrate from offline to online trading by providing training and comfort. 9. Encouraging clients to download the mobile app/browser, transact, access reports, and information pertaining to their account on the internet. Additional Details: - Candidate should be local and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in any Broking industry. - NISM -8 certification is mandatory. - Graduation is required. - Client Acquisition skills are essential. - Age limit is maximum 40 years. - CIBIL score of 650 is required. - Locations: Kanpur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Delhi, Gurgaon, Jaipur.
