Epm Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EPM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in PBCS (Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service) and Financial Consolidation.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in implementation, re-design, and support of EPM solutions, with strong business understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.

Key Responsibilities

EPM Functional Responsibilities

• Lead and support Oracle EPM implementations including:

• Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS)

• Financial Consolidation & Close (FCCS)

• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional designs

• Design and configure:

• Budgeting & Forecasting models

• Financial consolidation structures

• Metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, and business rules

• Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend best-practice EPM solutions

Implementation & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end implementation and re-design of EPM applications

• Configure:

• Metadata

• Data forms

• Business rules / calculations

• Security and approvals

• Support data integration, validation, and reconciliation

• Manage SIT, UAT, and go-live activities

• Provide post-go-live support and enhancements

Financial & Business Process Support

• Strong understanding of:

• Budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles

• Financial consolidation and close process

• Intercompany eliminations

• Currency translation and reporting

• Work closely with finance users and stakeholders

• Support audit, reconciliation, and financial reporting needs

Stakeholder & Collaboration

• Work closely with finance teams, IT, and business users

• Support workshops, demos, and user training

• Coordinate with technical teams for integrations and reporting

• Prepare functional documentation and user guides

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in:

• PBCS

• Financial Consolidation (FCCS)

• Experience in:

• EPM implementation and re-design projects

• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial close processes

• Good understanding of:

• Financial statements

• Chart of Accounts

• Multi-currency & intercompany processes

• Experience with:

• Data Management / Data Integration

• Smart View

• Oracle EPM Cloud Certification

• Experience in large enterprise or global implementations

• Knowledge of Essbase and calculation scripting
