Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Environment, Health & Safety Management - Implementation of EHS standards based on Regulatory requirements,
Risk Assessment - Identify / evaluate EHS aspects of the facility, prioritize the significant aspects & set goals for compliance.
To conduct the EHS induction of new employee, workmen and visitors.
Emergency Response - Identify the emergencies likely to arise, Prepare Emergency response procedures & plans & conduct periodic drills.
Implementation & updating documents and activities relating with EHS management system (Risk Assessment, Aspect Impact, EHSQ manual, On site emergency plan, legal obligation, monthly EHS committee meeting, OCP, SOP, MSDS, Emergency equipments details & status, Mock drill, all kind of inspection and checklists at sites.
Monitoring of water & air emissions on regular basis & ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Waste Management - ensure the proper disposal of waste according to the regulatory requirements.
To identify potential workplace hazards
Implementation of effective EHS procedures and programs.
To prepare the monthly site EHS MIS.& EHS Compliance.
Celebration of the National safety week, Road safety week, World environment day.

Preferred candidate profile

Post Diploma in Industrial Safety (PDIS) with minimum 3 years of similar experience.
