Environmental Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting hydrological modeling and flood modeling using software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, QGIS, and other relevant software. Additionally, you will perform watershed analysis, flood risk assessment, and analyze historical rainfall data to estimate discharge for key return periods using statistical distribution analysis. You will also be required to analyze and interpret data from remote sensing and GIS applications, review topography and hydrology reports, and provide technical support on hydrological and flood inundation modeling. Furthermore, you will coordinate with clients on model development, data collection, and project updates, as well as prepare detailed reports, technical documentation, and presentations showcasing project outcomes, findings, and recommendations. Field visits for hydrological data collection and basic understanding of storm water drainage design will also be part of your responsibilities.
