What's The Role
As the Enterprise ITGC Assurance Lead, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding Shell's digital ecosystem by delivering robust assurance on IT risks across the organization by managing operational responsibilities related to IT controls, delivering assurance services and driving improvement projects. Embedded within the IDT Assurance Services (IAS) team, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead ITGC testing efforts, strengthen risk management practices, and drive operational excellence. What You'll Be Doing
- Lead & Develop: Manage and coach a high-performing team of ITGC testers, fostering excellence and growth.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee ITGC testing and perform QA reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with assurance standards.
- Resource & Deliverable Management: Coordinate resources, including EY accounts, and align SOX testing deliverables with Shell Line 1 and EY teams.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide timely progress updates and maintain integrity of reports for stakeholders and senior management.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to streamline ITGC testing and related assurance activities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal teams and external auditors to ensure seamless communication and alignment on objectives.
- Risk Advisory: Advise IT operations on risk management, support remediation plans, and contribute to ESSA initiatives.
- Escalation & Problem-Solving: Address challenges proactively, manage escalations, and drive operational efficiency in a dynamic environment.
What You Bring
- 912 years of experience in IT audits, including ITGC and ITAC testing, and conducting comprehensive risk assessments
- At least 3 years of experience managing and developing teams, directly or indirectly, fostering high performance and collaboration
- Strong knowledge of IT audit processes, risk management, and control testing
- Bachelor's degree in Technology or a related field; a postgraduate degree is highly desirable
- Professional certifications in IT Security or Risk Management (e.g., ISO 27001, CISA, CISM, CRISC) are highly desirable
- Familiarity with industry standards like ISO 27001, COBIT, and other IT security protocols
- Experience in developing and enhancing team capabilities is a plus
- Comprehensive understanding of information risk management principles and associated processes
- Experience with enterprise technologies such as SAP, Microsoft Power Platform, and cloud environments is a plus
- Continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated project management capabilities
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to perform effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Team-oriented and proactive, with a willingness to support others and foster a collaborative work environment
- Professionally curious, with a strong desire for ongoing learning and development
- Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills, capable of managing competing demands effectively
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Willingness to work mid-shift hours (12:00 PM 9:00 PM IST); eligible for shift allowance as per company policy
