English Teacher

The TGT English Teacher will be responsible for teaching English to secondary school students in an ICSE curriculum. You will develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with the ICSE curriculum for English literature and language. Evaluating and assessing student progress through examinations, assignments, and class activities will be a crucial part of your role. It is important to foster a positive and engaging classroom environment to encourage active learning and participation among students. Providing individual guidance to students to support their academic and personal development is also expected from you. Participation in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development opportunities will be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and curriculum development is essential. You will be required to incorporate technology and modern teaching methods to improve the learning experience for the students. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in English or related field, B.Ed. preferred - Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in an ICSE curriculum school - Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken - Ability to engage and inspire students with creative teaching methods - Solid understanding of the ICSE curriculum and educational standards - Strong classroom management skills with a nurturing and patient approach Skills: - Lesson Planning - Classroom Management - Curriculum Development - Assessment and Evaluation - Effective Communication - Literature Analysis - Student Engagement - Educational Technology This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.
