Freedom Employability Academy (FEA) aims to empower disadvantaged youth in India by providing a free, year-long intensive coaching program covering English, non-cognitive skills, digital literacy, and lifelong learning. Serving both urban and rural youth in north India, FEA delivers transformative education through a mix of technology, peer collaboration, and interactive lessons. The academy reaches over 60,000 students annually through 1,000+ branches across 10 states. Graduates gain productive mindsets, employable skills, and the ability to adapt to the future workforce. Studies by Stanford University have demonstrated the significant financial and professional impact of the program on its participants.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an English Teacher based in Gonda. The English Teacher will be responsible for teaching English to students, creating engaging lesson plans, implementing educational activities, and fostering a positive and productive learning environment. Additional responsibilities include maintaining student progress records, providing individualized support, and contributing to the overall mission of empowering students with essential skills for employability and lifelong learning.

Qualifications

Proficiency in English Teaching and experience in lesson planning
Background in Education and proven skills in Teaching
Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to inspire and engage students from diverse backgrounds
Strong adaptability and commitment to the mission of empowering youth
Previous experience in similar roles is an advantage
Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or related fields is highly preferred
