**Job Description:** We are seeking a passionate English teacher with a heart for engaging with the next generation and proven experience in teaching Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level English. As a Teacher - English (High & Senior School) at our school located in Kollam, Kerala, you will play a crucial role in inspiring and educating our students. **Responsibilities:** - Teach effectively by delivering high-quality lessons that meet teaching objectives and cater to the needs of all students. Utilize innovative teaching methods to stimulate intellectual curiosity and growth. - Stay up-to-date with thorough knowledge of your subject area, considering relevant curriculum advancements. - Demonstrate efficient lesson planning by clearly identifying teaching objectives, curriculum content, student targets, and lesson structures, including assessments and assignments. - Monitor and assess student progress to provide constructive feedback, intervene, and support underachieving students. - Build strong relationships with students and their parents/guardians, being approachable and ready to engage on student progress. - Adapt teaching methods to different learning formats such as classroom-based, online, or blended learning, and actively participate in the school's co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. **Qualifications:** - Hold a B.Ed. in the relevant subject area. - Post-graduation and/or CIE training would be preferred. - Possess a creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching. - Have proven experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE, A Level, or International curriculum. - Experience in conducting continuous evaluation of student performance. - Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, and fellow staff. - Fluency in English is mandatory.
