Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining as a Hardware Design Engineer/ Sr. Engineer specializing in PCB/CAD within the Hardware Design function in Vadodara, Gujarat. Your role will involve working on high-speed and complex boards using CAD tools to create precise and efficient designs. Key Responsibilities: - Update and create accurate PCB component libraries by checking datasheets - Design and adjust PCB layouts following industry standards - Manage the entire PCB design process from creating libraries to preparing manufacturing files - Set up and test high-speed signals to ensure proper functionality - Focus on complex, multilayer PCB designs, emphasizing signal integrity and layout - Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) checks to ensure readiness for production - Finalize files for fabrication and assembly by checking design rules - Review and verify designs with various teams such as design, mechanical, signal integrity, power integrity, thermal, and assembly - Project management to ensure timely completion and quality control Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech) or MSc in Electronics - Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCB/CAD design - Strong understanding of Datasheets, Library creation, IPC Standards, and MIL Standard design practices - Hands-on experience in designing High-speed, Multilayer PCBs with exposure to various technologies such as I2C, SPI, USB, Ethernet, etc. - Proficiency in EDA Tools like Mentor Expedition, Valor, and Gerber tools - Good communication skills and ability to handle projects independently Additional Company Details: Matrix is an Indian Tech Company that focuses on creating innovative products for global customers from India.
