Role & responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for punching machines, ensuring efficient and accurate sheet metal fabrication.
• Utilize strong Excel skills to organize, analyze, and report on production data related to CNC punching operations, such as cycle times, material usage, and error rates.
• Maintain a well-organized library of CNC programs and tooling information using Excel spreadsheets for easy access and tracking.
• Generate data-driven insights from Excel analysis to identify areas for process improvement in CNC punching.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement program modifications and process enhancements based on data analysis.

Preferred candidate profile

• Create and implement CNC programs for punching machines, adhering to technical drawings and specifications.
• Leverage advanced Excel functions to develop comprehensive reports on punching machine performance, efficiency, and material yield.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to CNC punching using Excel, presenting findings to management.
• Utilize Excel to manage tooling inventories, track maintenance schedules, and optimize resource allocation for punching operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing data-backed recommendations derived from Excel analysis of CNC punching processes.
