What would you do? We are looking for a hands-on and solution-oriented Data Engineer with experience in Python scripting, data modeling, OCR technologies, and automation of document workflows. This role is central to building scalable data pipelines that extract, transform, and structure information from PDFs and unstructured documents, emails, csv files into usable formats for analysis and reporting.

Years?¢Experience with Python scripting for data processing and automation tasks.?¢Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (relational and semi-structured data).?¢Hands-on experience with PDF data extraction and other different source of data?¢Familiarity with SQL, pandas, NumPy, and data manipulation techniques.?¢Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills.?¢Comfortable working in both standalone and collaborative environments.?¢Good communication skills and ability to work with cross country teams located at different geographical regions?¢Experience with workflow automation/orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Power Automate, Prefect).?¢Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for OCR, storage, or data pipeline deployment.?¢Knowledge of reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau for data integration (not report building).?¢Basic understanding of NLP or document classification techniques is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities: ?¢Build and maintain Python-based automation scripts to extract data from PDFs, scanned documents, and image-based files.?¢Use OCR technologies to convert unstructured data into structured formats.?¢Design and implement data models, ensuring scalability, data integrity, and alignment with business needs.?¢Automate repetitive data collection and validation tasks using scripting and workflow tools.?¢Create structured outputs (e.g., JSON, CSV, database inserts) that feed into reports, dashboards, or data warehouses.?¢Perform data validation, implement error handling, and ensure quality control over extracted datasets.?¢Work with stakeholders to optimize document processing workflows and reduce manual interventions.?¢Document processes, models, and automation scripts to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
