Role: Engineering Manager / Technical Project Manager

Experience: 10-15 Years

Location - Chennai (Work From Office)

Role & responsibilities

• Own the planning, execution and end-to-end delivery of one or more software projects
• Work closely with all project stakeholders (clients, project teams, stakeholders) to define project objective, scope, requirement, budget and timeline
• Monitor the project progress, process compliance, proactively identify and resolve issues, manage risks, communicate status updates to all stakeholders, and ensure quality deliverables and customer satisfaction

Skills

• Concurrently manage a team of 10+,  multiple projects and clients
• Need to have a combination of technical and soft skill
• Strong technical expertise in software development, including proficiency in programming languages, frameworks and and tools relevant to the project
• Experience in agile project management, development methodologies and tools 
• Experience with cloud technologies and architecture
• Must be able to write code, troubleshoot technical problems, and be able to use project management software like Jira
• Strong process knowledge/ experience at all levels - technical, team management, project management, client management and stakeholder management. Drive continuous process improvement initiatives
• Must have strong communication, leadership, problem solving, and collaboration skills
• Be able to communicate clearly and articulate effectively, lead and motivate the project team, analyze and resolve complex issues, and closely collaborate with all stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

• Own project(s) from initiation to closure by adhering to process and ensure - on time, within budget, and quality deliverables
• Gathering and analyzing project requirements and specifications from stakeholders, developing and maintaining project plan, budget and scope, assigning and managing tasks and deliverables, facilitating project reviews and status meetings, tracking and reporting project status, metrics, risks and changes
• Until project closure, ensure project quality deliverables, compliance, documentation
• Upon successful closure - record and present lesson learnt to the leadership team
