Engineer - VMC Programmer

As a skilled VMC Programmer cum Operator, you will be responsible for CNC programming, machine operation, tool selection & setup, quality assurance, production planning & control, problem-solving & troubleshooting using Mastercam software and Ace Micromatic VMC machines with Fanuc control. Key Responsibilities: - Develop 2D, 3D, and multi-axis tool paths using Mastercam software. - Optimize programs for efficient machining and minimal tool wear. - Set up and operate VMC machines (Ace Micromatic with Fanuc control). - Plan setups and select appropriate cutting tools for different materials and components. - Ensure precision machining and adherence to tight tolerances. - Coordinate with the production team for job scheduling and timely delivery. - Identify and resolve machining or tooling issues on the shop floor. Qualifications Required: - Software Skills: Proficiency in Mastercam is mandatory. - Machine Knowledge: Experience with Ace Micromatic VMC with Fanuc Controller. - Experience: 3 to 8 years in VMC programming and operation. - Strong understanding of cutting tools, feeds & speeds, and toolpath optimization. - Good communication and team collaboration skills.
