Preventive breakdown maintenance

• Responsible for routine maintenance of running molds (greasing, slider movements, cooling water circulation cavity wear)
• Responsible to do mold preventive maintenance as per the preventive maintenance schedule.
• Immediate response for the mold breakdown troubleshooting. (Part catching, slider jammed spring push jammed, air vent block, etc. )
• Responsible for improving cavitations through mold service.
• Responsible for taking corrective action against quality complaints on products like scoring, flash observed, weld lines
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential

Tools Spares Maintenance

• Keep all the required tools available and improve the working area.
• Check for the critical spare availability and its functional condition.
• Keep all the critical spare drawings and allocate them to the supplier for making the spares.
• Follow up with the vendors to make the spares on time to avoid production downtime.
• Make the spare list for every mold and follow up on the spare stock list.
• Create the part code for every spare and follow the requisition slip for changing the spares

• Coordinate with the production team to address tooling issues promptly and minimize production downtime.
• Coordinate with NPD team for new projects improvisation of existing projects.
• Coordinate with NPD for design review, new tool trials corrections.
• Follow the mold history card regularly.
• Follow the MTTR MTBF report to minimize the downtime.
• Prepare PM plan vs Actual report for every mold.
• Update the PM verification check sheet for every PM activity.
• Follow the molds list spares list document also keep updated with every change.
• Keep drawings for all critical spares as a document.
• Follow the breakdown requisition slip to attend to the mold breakdown on running production
