Engineer - Technical Service

Role Overview: Markem-Imaje is a trusted manufacturer of product identification and traceability solutions, offering a full line of inkjet, thermal transfer, laser, print, and apply label systems. The Technical Service Engineer is responsible for performing on-site installation, maintenance, service repair, and support for Markem-Imaje products and services. Key Responsibilities: - Provide onsite service and customer support, study different types of packaging machines, and assess site readiness for printer installation. - Conduct onsite (online) printer trials and perform on-site product installations at customer premises. - Ensure the installation and maintenance of Markem products to maximize uptime and customer satisfaction. - Meet service and spares budget for the assigned geographical territory. - Travel to manufacturing facilities of Markem customers. Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of hands-on experience in onsite service and customer support of capital goods related to industrial automation. - Graduate with a degree in Electrical/Electronics/BSc (Maths/Physics) from a reputed college with at least 60% marks. - Good organizational skills, ability to set priorities, and manage time effectively. - Strong customer relationship management skills. - Must have own vehicle for business travel.
