Engineer /Sr. Engineer Mech Design Projects

As a member of the Projects division at ##Company, your main role will be to work with Project consultants and the Engineering team to design Plant mechanical equipment and Piping requirements. You will be responsible for finalizing project specifications for Mechanical Equipment & Piping according to the latest design standards, monitoring and tracking Engineering Deliverables, and ensuring compliance with Project design best practices. Your duties will also include providing project design & consultancy based on the Basic Engineering Package, monitoring project engineering progress, preparing and reviewing Material Take Off (MTO) List & Bill of Quantity (BOQ), as well as Equipment Manufacturing Drawings and GA Drawings. You will be accountable for assigned projects from initial development through to completion, including conducting project review meetings, identifying issues, and planning countermeasures. Additionally, you will need to support stakeholders and users to determine their needs effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work with Project consultants & Engineering team for designing Plant mechanical equipment and Piping requirements - Finalize project specifications for Mechanical Equipment & Piping as per latest design standards - Monitor & Track Engineering Deliverables for the project - Understand and follow Project design best practices - Provide project design & consultancy based on Basic Engineering Package - Monitor project engineering progress and communicate relevant information to stakeholders - Prepare & Review Material Take Off (MTO) List & Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for procurement activities - Prepare & Review Equipment Manufacturing Drawings, GA Drawings - Conduct project review meetings, identify issues, and plan countermeasures - Support stakeholders and users to determine their needs effectively **Qualification Required:** - B.Tech Mechanical degree - 5 to 9 years of experience in Chemical/Petrochemical/Refinery Project designing and vendor development for Project consultancy/design - Experience in grassroots level project activities The above responsibilities and qualifications will enable you to contribute effectively to the Projects division at ##Company.,
