As an Engineer II, Software Development at S&P Global, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team located across various locations to create enterprise-grade applications. Your role will involve utilizing a wide range of technologies to deliver essential information and functionality to both internal and external clients. Your contributions will have a significant impact, making even small changes influential in the organization. **Responsibilities:** - Design and implement projects related to .NET technology. - Conduct analyses and propose effective solutions. - Develop the underlying engineering for multiple product offerings to support a large user base. - Create project plans with detailed task breakdowns and estimates. - Enhance and manage existing solutions. - Solve complex problems by evaluating various solutions and their associated costs and benefits. **What We're Looking For:** **Basic Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. - Proficiency in C#, .Net, and SQL. - Experience with implementing REST APIs. - Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills. - Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns. - Familiarity with Container platforms and orchestration systems. - Hands-on experience with AWS services like Lambda, SQS, S3, API Gateway. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. - Excellent problem-solving abilities. - Strong work ethic, self-driven, and results-oriented. - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. **Preferred:** - Knowledge of AI, Copilot, and Agents. - Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture for scalable component creation. - Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD). - Knowledge of Python would be advantageous. **About S&P Global:** At S&P Global, we are a team of over 35,000 individuals worldwide dedicated to providing Essential Intelligence.
