Job Description

Role Summary

The position is for an Engineer - IPQA in the Quality department.
The core function is to manage Product & Process Quality performances, work toward meeting Customer requirements, expectations and Monitor the Performance of the Product / Process.
The role involves conducting Internal Quality meetings, driving Continuous improvements, focusing on Departmental KPI and achieving targets.

Industry

Experience in EMS or OEM industry, preferably Electronics manufacturing industry.

Key Skills

Knowledge of QMS (Quality Management System) standards like ISO 13485/ AS9100 / ISO 9001/ TS16949.
Knowledge in Statistical Process control, Measurement System analysis, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
Knowledge of IPC 610 Standards.

Primary Responsibilities

The Engineer - IPQA will be responsible for a range of quality assurance and process control activities:
CAPA implementation and effectiveness monitoring.
Periodically review and update Quality Procedures.
Manufacturing Process audit, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) audit to Comply to QMS / Product requirements.
Data collection, Trending, analysis and drive improvements.
Review and Monitor Validation Builds as per applicable standards.
Using Statistical tools (WHY-WHY analysis, Fault tree / factor analysis, Risk assessment).
FAIR, PPAP Preparation, Review and Approve.
Closely Coordinate & Monitor the NC & RMA process.
Active participation in EHS related activities, including documentation like Aspects & Impacts, and continual improvements.

Skills and Competencies

Soft Skills: Team player, Good communication & interpersonal skills.
Technical Tools: Good knowledge in MS Office.
