Engineer/ Senior Engineer - Final Inspection

Role Overview: As a Senior Engineer specializing in Final Inspection, Glost Inspection, Quality Inspection, or Ceramic Inspection at LIXIL INDIA PVT LTD, your role will involve overseeing standardized works, managing the Fired products Inspection team, coordinating with the QA department for SOP preparation, maintaining production databases, managing daily production stock and consumable items, conducting problem-solving and root cause analysis, handling quality-related customer queries, ensuring a strong Safety culture and 5S standards, providing training to inspectors, and demonstrating strategic responsibilities such as team management, confident decision-making, attention to detail, adaptability, continuous improvement, and creative problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise the Fired products Inspection team to achieve targets for production, quality, and cost - Act as an ISO coordinator, collaborating with the QA department to develop SOPs - Maintain production databases and liaise with other production teams - Manage inventory of daily production stock and consumable items - Resolve quality-related customer queries - Promote a strong Safety culture and ensure a Safe and Healthy work environment - Implement a strong 5S culture and uphold the Standards of Excellence - Provide periodic training to inspectors and other associates Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree or Diploma in Ceramic Technology - Minimum 6+ years of experience in fired production inspection process - Proficiency in production planning, MS Office, visual and warpage standards of sanitary products, Epoxy and Cold repair applications, surface grinding machine operation, preparing department SOPs, and conducting dimensional, functional, and installation tests of sanitary ware products Additional Details: You will collaborate with internal stakeholders including Production team members, EHS, Procurement, SOIP, Finance, HR, Maintenance, and QA, as well as external stakeholders such as global counterparts of other Lixil Plants and Standards auditors.
