Job Description

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Deliverable Production:
Develop electrical drawings (SLDs, Block Diagrams, Layouts), equipment datasheets (Transformers, Motors, Switchgear), cable schedules, and technical specifications.
Calculations:
Perform detailed calculations for cable sizing, transformer sizing, voltage drop, lighting levels, and earthing grid design.
Vendor Packages:
Prepare technical requisitions for electrical equipment, evaluate vendor quotes, and perform technical bid analysis.
Design Support:
Assist in 3D model reviews and ensure electrical requirements are incorporated. Develop installation details and support construction queries.
Documentation:
Prepare testing procedures (FAT/SAT), manuals, and as-built documentation.

Qualifications Required:

Education:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
Engineer: 3-6 years. Senior Engineer: 6-10 years in Oil & Gas or related industry.

Job Skills Needed:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.
Strong understanding of IEC, IEEE, NEC, and API standards.
Good communication skills for interfacing with vendors and other disciplines.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
