Engineer Project Associate - Wind Turbine Certification Structural Engineer

As a Project Handler at UL Solutions, your primary responsibility will be to effectively communicate with clients regarding technical issues, UL procedures, project costs, and sample requirements. You will act as the main point of contact to address client concerns, provide technical assistance related to product inspection, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and company manuals. Your role will involve examining samples for UL requirements, coordinating project management tasks, and preparing reports to update clients on project status. Key Responsibilities: - Communicate with clients to discuss technical issues, project requirements, and negotiate completion dates - Provide technical assistance to clients regarding product inspection and follow-up services - Ensure compliance with UL requirements by examining samples and notifying clients of any non-compliance areas - Coordinate administrative aspects of project management and prepare reports for clients - Resolve engineering issues associated with project variations and assist in developing UL requirements - Conduct structural evaluations of Nacelle and Hub components according to international standards - Perform structural analysis using commercialized tools like Ansys - Inspect manufacturers" facilities to ensure correct implementation of specific designs in the manufacturing process - Review technical documentation from clients and communicate with business partners in India and abroad - Identify opportunities to improve internal tools and calculation processes Qualifications Required: - Masters/Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - 2-4 years of relevant experience in structural analysis - Experience with commercialized numerical simulation tools like ANSYS - Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes involving steel structure fabrication and welding - Willingness to travel within India and internationally - Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills - Customer focus, commitment, and ability to work independently - Strong technical aptitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced consultancy environment - Desire to develop and expand business opportunities - Experience in continuous process improvement (Lean Six Sigma) is desirable About the Company: UL Solutions, a global leader in applied safety science, operates in over 110 countries, helping customers address safety, security, and sustainability challenges.
