Engineer Mechanical Design

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components of Underground mining products produced at Nashik. Your main tasks will include designing different mechanical components/systems, performing engineering design calculations, producing CAD models and drawings, preparing equipment specifications, and ensuring compliance with internal project management systems and ISO processes. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop various mechanical components/systems for Underground mining products - Perform engineering design calculations and produce CAD models, drawings, and documentation - Work closely with divisions and engineering center as needed - Prepare equipment specifications and ensure compliance with mechanical datasheets and sizing - Be a self-motivated concept developer and adopt industry best practices - Handle tasks independently with minimal guidance - Follow internal project management system, ISO processes/procedures, and standards Qualification Required: - 5-8 years of experience in Mechanical components/system design - Proficiency in tools such as Creo and Team Center - Masters or bachelors in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a reputed institute - Strong knowledge of engineering design, strength of materials, and 3D CAD software like Creo - Basic understanding of GD&T, design standards, manufacturing processes, and engineering materials - Good knowledge of PDM/PLM systems associated with engineering release processes - Experience in designing Underground mining products is a must.
