Role Overview: As a Test Engineer II in Pune, you will be responsible for test design, automation, and execution for the assigned feature set under the guidance of senior engineers. Your role will also involve mentoring junior engineers and college interns who are part of the project. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and document test plans based on multiple selection criteria to identify customer-centric issues early in the development cycle. - Identify and document tool chains that maximize automated test executions. - Implement feature additions/enhancements to existing test scenarios. - Perform root cause analysis for failures and report them in the bug tracking system. - Debug performance and reliability issues of the product. - Modify test code to improve performance, enhance stability, and fix defects. - Communicate with the team and managers to develop optimal solutions and report progress. Qualification Required: - Minimum 2+ years of work experience in: - Technologies: Python, C - Platform/Tools: Linux, Windows, Opensource tools, Jenkins test framework, Jira - Database: MongoDB, Elastic Database, Key-Value Databases - Tools: Anritsu, Anite, Amari Callbox, Spirent GSS, etc. - Experience in test automation for wireless, telecom, cloud products with exposure to the IoT domain. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies for software/system development.
