Engineer - Electrical

As an Engineer - Electrical at our company, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing designs, studies, reports, and drawings. You will play a crucial role in leading the electrical design process, engaging with clients and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. We are seeking a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced consultancy environment and is eager to apply their experience to develop and deliver various projects in the renewable energy sector. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the entire electrical package, collaborating with clients, network companies, and other third parties, and evaluating the costs and risks associated with electrical designs and installations. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and review electrical designs, studies, reports, and drawings - Lead the electrical package and interface directly with Clients and stakeholders - Assess costs and risks of electrical designs and installations - Attend site meetings, surveys, and quality inspections of site works - Prepare detailed reports to document project progress Qualifications: - B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, preferably with experience in the renewables sector - 3-5 years of experience in Solar PV, Wind, or renewable energy industry - Proficiency in Electrical PV / BESS Detailed Design - Ability to conduct Power System Studies such as Load Flow, Ampacity, Short Circuit, Lightning Risk Assessments, Induced Voltage, and Grounding - Experience in Substation Design (Collector Sub and HV Switchyards) or Transmission Line Design will be advantageous About Us: Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, dedicated to addressing critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
