ENGINEER - DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

**Job Description:** As a potential candidate for this position, you will be responsible for producing design ideas, creating technical plans for prototypes using CAD or CAE software, and analyzing and managing multiple design-related issues to identify root causes. You will also be involved in carrying out simulations of products for new and prototype projects using in-house software, attending design reviews to present ideas, and discussing alternative design solutions. Additionally, you will make and track design changes on existing products, maintain control of Bill of Materials (BoM), CAD Models, and Engineering Drawings, undertake special projects as required, and support technical staff and/or junior engineers. Documenting and presenting progress at project meetings and to clients, finding cost-effective solutions by researching concepts, and meeting customer targets and deadlines for product development will also be part of your responsibilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Produce design ideas and create technical plans for prototypes using CAD or CAE software - Analyze and manage multiple design-related issues to identify root causes - Carry out simulations of products for new and prototype projects using in-house software - Attend design reviews to present ideas and discuss alternative design solutions - Make and track design changes on existing products - Maintain control of Bill of Materials (BoM), CAD Models, and Engineering Drawings - Undertake special projects as required - Support technical staff and/or junior engineers - Document and present progress at project meetings and to clients - Find cost-effective solutions by researching concepts - Meet customer targets and deadlines for product development **Qualification Required:** - D.M.E., B.E. degrees - At least 3+ years of experience in design & development of automotive and industrial parts - Strong knowledge of IATF with exposure to OEM approval processes, including product testing, especially with respect to automotive OEMs - Excellent interpersonal skills - EV segment knowledge - Exposure to the requirements of automotive two-wheeler OEMs, including EV OEMs - A deep understanding of aftermarket requirements,
