Job Title: Wireline Network Operations

Job Purpose:

To manage and operate the entire Wireline Network (FTTH, Intercity OFC & ISP) ensuring best-in-class customer experience, network uptime, and operational efficiency. Drive network quality, partner management, preventive maintenance, and cost optimization (Capex/Opex) while mentoring the team and collaborating across functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Operations & Maintenance

• Manage end-to-end operations for 3000+ KM Fiber Network including MPLS, ASON, and DWDM technologies.
  
• Ensure 99.99% network uptime through proactive and reactive maintenance.
  
• Plan and implement fiber cut reduction strategies, single fiber break resolutions, and preventive maintenance.
  
• Drive improvements in OFC network health and patrolling quality.
  

2. Customer Experience

• Deliver timely and high-quality services to customers.
  
• Conduct monthly reviews with key customers to address service needs and expectations.
  
• Ensure SLA compliance, MTTR reduction, and KPI achievement for network trouble tickets.
  

3. Cost Optimization

• Lead initiatives to reduce Opex and Capex through innovation and efficient network design.
  
• Drive end-of-life (EOL) equipment removal and resource optimization.
  

4. Team Leadership

• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
  
• Ensure timely closure of issues and drive accountability via monthly reviews.
  
• Foster a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and collaboration.
  

5. Project Implementation

• Coordinate with NOC, Planning, Projects, and SCM teams for seamless implementation of new networks and de-choking of existing rings.
  
• Manage vendor and partner engagements for effective execution and maintenance.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• years of experience in Wireline Network Operations (FTTH, OFC, ISP).
  
• Strong understanding of MPLS, ASON, DWDM, OTN, MSAN technologies.
  
• Experience in managing fixed-line broadband, data circuits (ILP, Lease Line, PRI).
  
• Proven ability to manage large-scale operations and cross-functional teams.
  
• Excellent communication, planning, and vendor management skills.
