Job Role: Engineer Computer Networks Qualification (min): BE/B.Tech or equivalent ECE/IT 2 nos. Age: 35 years or lower Technical Skills and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the area of Network Administration involving the following skill sets: Cisco Routers: 2600, 2800, 3945, ASR1000 Cisco Switches: Catalyst 2950, 3500, 2960 Layer 3 Routing protocols: RIP/OSPF/EIGRP/BGP Layer 2 Protocols: VLANs, STP, RSTP, Etherchannel, VTP, BPDU, Cluster ACLs: Layer2, Layer3, Traffic Filtering Operating Systems: CentOS, Redhat, Fedora Core, Windows. Network Services: DNS, DHCP, Squid Proxy, Intranet, Active Directory, Backup Job Description and Responsibilities Install secure and scalable network devices. Maximize network performance by monitoring, troubleshooting network problems. Document all network setups and procedures of services related to networking, data center, network inventory. Should be familiar with network documentation tools. Knowledge of systems and network security. Managing projects individually as a part of team relating to technical and general projects, collaborative problem solving with customer, vendor and related groups interaction. Work with customer to ensure client service success. Liaise with product development teams, working together to resolve customer issues. Work as part of a team with excellent communication skills. Professional Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Preference would be given to those who have the following skill sets: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Cisco Nexus 5000, 7000 Brocade Switches: ICX6610, VDX6730 HP Series: HP 1910, 5510 Security: Firewalls: PaloAlto/CheckPoint, VPN, IPSec, SSL. SAN Administration: HPEVA4400, EMC VNX5300 Virtual Infrastructure: VMware vSpehre 6 Video Conference Systems: LifeSize Express220, team220, Polycom, Grandstream.
