Role & responsibilities

Engineer Valve Assembly & Testing position

• Education : DME/DAE
• Designation : Engineer – Valve Assembly & Testing
• Experience : 03 to 05 Years
• Industry Exposure : API/Non-API Valve manufacturing industry

Role & Responsibilities:

Oversee Valve Assembly and Testing Operations:

• Manage day-to-day activities related to the assembly, testing, and qualification of gate, globe, check valves. Ensure processes meet design and performance standards.
• Hands-on experience with performance and qualification testing of valves and related mechanical assemblies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques associated with valve products.
• Participate in customer inspections, FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), and technical discussions when required
• Coordinate calibration schedules and ensure readiness of test equipment
• Support audits and certification processes for

  ISO 9001 – 2015 , PED, HP0 or customer-specific standards

Test Methodology and Rig Conceptualization:

• Develop and implement test methods and fixtures for valve testing, including leakage and other relevant tests. Supervise testing teams to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Address customer queries related to valve performance and testing protocols

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to quality control protocols during assembly and testing phases. Address non-conformities, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Comply with industry standards

such as ISO , HP0, PED, Module H.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of design changes, testing results, and production metrics. Prepare reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.

Process Improvement:

• Support process documentation, create assembly and test procedures, and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency, reduce defects, and improve product quality.

Team Leadership:

• Guide, mentor, and coordinate efforts of engineers, technicians, and assembly staff to achieve production and quality goals. Promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
