We are looking for a Regional Sustainability Lead Role Purpose In this role, the Regional Sustainability Lead will support a client for sustainability program implementation across the relevant APAC countries. The role will be required to work based in Bengaluru, India. The role will report to the Regional Sustainable Operations Director and will oversee the development and execution of energy and sustainability management programs to deliver success with key performance indicators including energy savings, carbon footprint reduction, utilities cost management, and water and waste management. What this job involves Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop and execute energy management or sustainability strategy, including local site-level plans. Implement energy and sustainability programs to reach objectives. Support reporting objectives and provide management information relating to the use of utilities and the impact on the internal and external environment. Manage the energy, waste, and water data collection process within the clients technology platform and produce periodic (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annual) reports that are tailored to meet our clients specific requirements. Drive operational improvements though the identification and implementation of opportunities to improve energy and sustainability performance across regional portfolio and building-level perspective. Collaborate with other JLL Sustainable Operations team members to share best practices, identify opportunities, and develop case studies. Engage with JLL facility managers to become the key point of contact for the provision of wide-ranging advice in relation to all aspects of environmental sustainability. Drive implementation of site-level sustainability plans to facility managers, and provide training to support their site-level activities. Develop and enhance systems and processes for delivering best practice sustainability performance and use of utility/sustainability management systems for monitoring and/or reporting purposes. To apply you need to be / have: Requirements Essential University Degree (Science, engineering, math or related fields) Technical understanding of the most common HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building automation systems In-depth understanding of energy and water conservation measures Experienced with benchmarking and analysing utility data to drive sustainability measures In-depth understanding of Greenhouse Gas Emission scopes and reporting Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus Requirements Desirable Experience conducting site walkthroughs in order to find conservation measures (e.g., ASHRAE Level 1 and 2) Strong project management skills and an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high pressure, deadline driven environment Experience in the preparation of tenders and work orders and the ability to select appropriate equipment and service vendors Knowledge of environmental reporting, utility management and energy budgets, an environmental improvement program, and ISO 14001 compliance. The Incentives Associate is responsible for supporting team incentive research and applications, establishing internal best practices, and ensuring all utility applications are completed on time with savings realization higher than 90%. You will be tasked with calculating energy savings for projects based on thermodynamic principals, Technical Reference Manuals (TRMs), and utility calculators. Additionally, you will perform incentive analysis on ASHRAE level I audits and have a high-level understanding of M&V plan development. It will be important to infer equipment performance based on meter data. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather necessary project data and supporting the timely and accurate submission of incentive applications will be a key aspect of your role. You will also be responsible for monitoring the status of incentive applications, proactively addressing any issues or discrepancies to ensure successful and timely processing. To excel in this role, you should possess a fundamental understanding of lighting systems and a basic understanding of HVAC operations. A high-level understanding of energy incentive and rebate programs at the local, state, and federal levels is required. Proficiency in data analysis, including the ability to interpret and present complex information clearly and concisely, is essential. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy and precision in incentive calculations and application submissions. You should have strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to collaborate and build relationships with clients, program admins, and internal stakeholders. A proactive problem-solving mindset is key to identifying and resolving issues related to incentive programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, database management, and other relevant software tools for data analysis, reporting, and presentation purposes is also required. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in analyzing and managing energy incentives and rebate programs. This role does not involve any international travel.
