Cybersecurity at Providence is responsible for appropriately protecting all information relating to its caregivers and affiliates, as well as protecting its confidential business information (including information relating to its caregivers, affiliates, and patients)
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise EDR/XDR, encryption, and device control platforms.
- Own agent upgrade cycles, patch validation, and lifecycle management.
- Define endpoint security baselines, hardening standards, and policy frameworks.
- Integrate endpoint telemetry into SIEM/SOAR platforms for visibility and automation.
- Collaborate with vendors for agent compatibility, new feature enablement, and escalations.
- Drive innovation with automation of large-scale deployments and policy management.
- Plan and execute new deployments of endpoint security agents.
- Conduct proof-of-concept testing of endpoint tools and solutions.
- Document policies, standards, and reference architectures for endpoint platforms.
- Optimize policies for application control, device control, and encryption standards.
- Stay updated on next-gen endpoint innovations (behavior analytics, AI-based EDR).
- Expertise with enterprise endpoint platforms such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, or Carbon Black.
- Knowledge of endpoint encryption, device control, and application control mechanisms.
- Familiarity with automation tools and enterprise configuration management.
- Strong design and problem-solving skills in complex endpoint environments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCFA, Microsoft Security, CISSP) preferred.
