Job Description

Job Summary

1. *Develop and Implement Endpoint Security Policies*: Create, maintain, and enforce endpoint security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

2. *Endpoint Compliance Monitoring*: Continuously monitor endpoint compliance with security policies, procedures, and standards, identifying and remediating any non-compliant devices.

3. *Risk Management*: Identify, assess, and mitigate endpoint security risks, providing recommendations for risk reduction and mitigation.

4. *Vulnerability Management*: Collaborate with the vulnerability management team to identify, prioritize, and remediate endpoint vulnerabilities.

5. *Incident Response*: Participate in incident response activities, providing endpoint security expertise to contain and remediate security incidents.

6. *Endpoint Security Tool Management*: Manage endpoint security tools, including configuration, deployment, and maintenance.

7. *Reporting and Metrics*: Provide regular reporting and metrics on endpoint compliance, security posture, and risk management.

8. *Collaboration*: Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to ensure endpoint security is integrated into overall security and compliance strategies.

9. *Stay Current with Industry Developments*: Stay up-to-date with emerging endpoint security threats, technologies, and industry standards.

Requirements:

1. *Education*: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

2. *Experience*: Minimum 5 years of experience in endpoint security, compliance, or related field.

3. *Certifications*: Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM.

4. *Technical Skills*: Strong knowledge of endpoint security technologies, including antivirus, firewall, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.

5. *Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills*: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security data and provide actionable recommendations.

6. *Communication and Collaboration Skills*: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

7. *Attention to Detail*: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and remediate endpoint security vulnerabilities and compliance issues.

Technical Skills:

  • Cloud Security Experience*: Experience with cloud security platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Scripting and Automation*: Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python, and automation tools, such as Ansible or SaltStack.
  • Security Frameworks*: Knowledge of security frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework or ISO 27001.

Certifications Needed:

  • CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001, CISM
