End Point Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage solutions for Windows (physical and virtual) and Mac workstations, ensuring a healthy device posture and operation throughout the workstation lifecycle. - Play a crucial role in transitioning from traditional on-premises, domain-based compute to modern, cloud-managed endpoints. - Develop self-service scripts to enhance user-driven support and remediation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of workstation solutions in a zero trust environment. - Evaluate the feasibility of new requirements and their compatibility with current systems. - Support efforts to automate device health and posture in an evolving, conditional-based access environment. - Analyze and resolve production issues related to endpoint devices not resolved by Tier 1 or Tier 2 support. - Create, facilitate, and maintain product support materials like run books, technical diagrams, and knowledge bases to support the shift-left strategy with Tier 2 Support. - Provide recommendations for improving the software lifecycle process (deployment, updates, removal) and complete process improvement activities. Qualifications: - You should have a solid foundation with 5 years of relevant professional work experience in a large-scale environment (15,000+ endpoints) or a BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with some relative experience. - Demonstrated deep understanding of multiple OS platforms including Windows, MacOS, and/or Linux. - Proven experience with cloud-based modern device management solutions such as Intune, Tanium, Workspace ONE, or Jamf Pro. - Strong understanding of zero trust security principles. - Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies while adhering to change management practices. - Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
