End Point Engineer

As an End Point Engineer at Syneos Health, you will be part of a dynamic Tier 3 engineering team dedicated to modern endpoint management and zero trust methodologies. Your role will be crucial in creating a secure and efficient digital environment using platform-agnostic, cloud-based technologies to provide adaptable solutions across various systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage solutions for Windows and Mac workstations, ensuring a healthy device posture and operational efficiency. - Aid in the transition from traditional on-premises, domain-based compute to modern, cloud-managed endpoints. - Develop self-service scripts to enhance user-driven support and remediation processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and operate workstation solutions within a zero trust environment. - Analyze feasibility of new requirements and ensure compatibility with existing systems. - Automate device health and posture in a conditional-based access environment. - Take the lead in resolving production issues related to endpoint devices. - Create and maintain product support materials like run books, technical diagrams, and knowledge bases for a shift-left strategy with Tier 2 Support. - Make recommendations for improving software lifecycle processes and execute process improvement activities. Qualifications: - Possess a solid foundation with 5 years of relevant professional work experience in a large-scale environment (15,000+ endpoints) or a BA/BS Degree in Computer Science with relative experience. - Deep understanding of multiple OS platforms such as Windows, MacOS, and/or Linux. - Proven experience with cloud-based modern device management solutions like Intune, Tanium, Workspace ONE, or Jamf Pro. - Strong grasp of zero trust security principles. - Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies. - Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
