About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Test Engineer, working on firmware, embedded systems, and device-level testing. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy low-level testing, working close to hardware, and validating real-world device behavior across platforms like mobile and laptops.

What You’ll Be Working On

•      Firmware validation & device-level testing

•      Embedded systems & hardware-software interaction

•      Mobile & laptop platform testing

•      Multimedia feature testing

•      BSP & platform-level validation

Key Responsibilities

•      Perform firmware and device testing on embedded platforms

•      Execute manual test cases for mobile and laptop devices

•      Validate multimedia functionality (audio, video, camera, display, etc.)

•      Work with BSP (Board Support Package) components & platform builds

•      Identify, log, track, and retest defects with strong attention to detail

•      Collaborate with firmware developers and system engineers to reproduce and debug issues

•      Ensure test coverage across embedded, firmware, and multimedia domains

•      Support validation cycles for new features, fixes, and platform updates

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

•      2–5 years of experience in Firmware Testing / Device Testing

•      Strong hands-on experience testing embedded systems

•      Proven experience in Mobile and Laptop testing

•      Solid understanding of hardware-software interaction

•      Strong debugging, test execution, and defect tracking skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

•      Experience in Multimedia testing (audio, video, camera, display)

•      Exposure to BSP (Board Support Package) and BSPN management

•      Familiarity with embedded Linux or firmware environments

Optional / Added Advantage

•      Knowledge of Python or test automation

•      Experience supporting automation scripts or test tools

•      Willingness to expand into automation in the future
