Embedded Systems Intern

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and test firmware for embedded systems using C and C++.
• Work with microprocessors, microcontrollers, and peripherals to build real-time applications.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics, datasheets, and hardware manuals.
• Integrate embedded firmware with hardware components (sensors, communication modules, etc.).
• Debug and optimize code for performance and memory efficiency.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on board bring-up and system testing.
• Document development processes, design choices, and test results.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Knowledge of Embedded Linux or bare-metal programming
• Good understanding of microprocessor/microcontroller architectures (ARM, AVR, ESP32, STM32, etc.).
• Ability to read and analyze circuit schematics and datasheets.
• Hands-on experience with firmware development projects.
• Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, timers, and interrupts.
• Exposure to RTOS concepts and embedded debugging tools (JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Experience with hardware debugging and test equipment.
• Understanding of low-power design and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

Duration: 1-2 months
