Design Engineer – CATIA V5 (3–5 Years Experience) Bengaluru 3 - 5 years INR 3.5 - 6.0 Lacs P.A. On-site Full Time

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer – Electrical CAD with 3–5 years of experience to join our dynamic automotive design team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CATIA V5 and NX, a strong understanding of automotive electrical and electronic components, and the ability to perform packaging studies and manage design documentation using PLM tools. Key Responsibilities: Create detailed 3D CAD models of automotive electrical components using CATIA V5. Conduct packaging studies for Electrical & Electronics (E&E) components within the vehicle environment using the assembly workbench. Prepare and release 2D drawings with proper GD&T, in compliance with industry standards. Manage BOMs, maintain revision control, and process ECR/ECN/SOR/DVP documentation. Work within PLM environments like Teamcenter for drawing release and version control. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineering, manufacturing, and quality to ensure seamless integration of E&E components. Support design reviews, resolve technical queries, and implement design changes efficiently. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive Engineering or a related field. 3–5 years of relevant experience in automotive electrical component design. Proficiency in CATIA V5, and NX for 3D modeling, assembly, and drawing creation. Strong knowledge of GD&T, industry standards, and DVP (Design Verification Plan). Experience with Teamcenter or similar PLM platforms. Good understanding of automotive E&E components and integration within the vehicle. CATIA V5 Design Engineer – Plastics (Interior & Exterior) Pune 4 - 6 years INR 5.0 - 8.0 Lacs P.A. On-site Full Time

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in automotive plastic components using CATIA V5 . The candidate will be responsible for the design and development of interior and exterior plastic trims , ensuring compliance with design standards, manufacturability, and quality expectations. Key Responsibilities: Design and development of automotive plastic components for interior (IP, console, door trims, pillars, etc.) and exterior (bumpers, grills, claddings, spoilers, etc.). Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings in CATIA V5 with full GD&T application as per ASME Y14.5. Perform packaging studies , interface checks, and clash analysis using CATIA Assembly Workbench. Participate in design reviews , DFMEA, DFM/DFA validations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams : styling, CAE, manufacturing, and suppliers. Support prototype and production builds , and incorporate design changes through ECNs/ECRs. Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure document control through PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter/ENOVIA). Ensure adherence to customer and regulatory standards, timelines, and quality targets. Sr. Design Engineer - CATIA (Aerospace Tooling, GSE) bengaluru 5 - 8 years INR 6.0 - 12.0 Lacs P.A. On-site Full Time

Experience Preferred: 5 to 8 Years Must have experience on design, development and manufacturing of Ground support Equipment (GSE), Small maintenance tools, Aerospace MRO Tools and FAL (Final assembly line) assembly/installation fixtures. Key requirements: Understand Maintenance Engineering requirements of Aircraft for the design, development and manufacturing of Ground support Equipment, Aerospace MRO tools & Small maintenance tools. Ability to build concept & functional design based on technical specifications from customers under guidance of Principle engineer. Take responsibility for design and development (CAD-3D Model) of GSE tools and tool storage boxes using CATIA V5 considering material selection, purchase parts selection, design for manufacturing and assembly, design to cost, ergonomics, operational safety adherence to CE norms and reliability criteria. Support design and development of FAL (Final assembly line) assembly/installation fixtures, MRO tools and Small maintenance tools considering EASA guidelines. Ensure quality deliverables with respect to effective input study, adherence to Quality checklists, Design guidelines and Aircraft quality standards (AS 9100 and EN 9110). Independently create GSE, SMT, Aerospace MRO tool parts/assembly drawings and tool storage box drawings using CATIA V5 by applying ISO tolerance system, CE regulations and customer instructions. Ability to create complementary documentation, like General Instruction manuals for GSE/Aerospace MRO tools, Bill of Materials, technical files and analyzation of operational Risks associated with the tool/GSE. Support validation of GSE/MRO/FAL tools with respect to DMU check and calculations during design phase and to validate with respect to prototyping, periodic load tests, leak tests, fatigue tests, etc. during physical testing followed by respective design iteration. Handle change management by clearly understanding design changes/modifications and the factors driving the change along with prioritization of the tasks. As a focal point, Senior design engineer need to ensure effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional team and Focal point personnels by understanding their requirements and implementing the same in day-to-day work.
