PTC Creo Design Engineer

As a Cable Tray Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing cable trays, cable ladders, mesh trays, and related support systems using PTC Creo. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing cable trays and support systems in compliance with industry standards such as NEMA, IEC, and IS, as well as project specifications. - Creating 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings for fabrication and installation purposes. - Collaborating with electrical, structural, and project engineering teams to ensure alignment of cable management designs with overall layouts. - Working on material selection, thickness optimization, load capacity, and structural integrity of tray systems. - Developing Bill of Materials (BOMs), GA drawings, and installation drawings. - Utilizing strong hands-on experience in PTC Creo, including Part, Assembly, Sheet Metal, and Drafting modules. - Demonstrating knowledge of various cable tray types (perforated, ladder, wire mesh, trunking, GI, SS, Aluminum) and support accessories. - Applying familiarity with cable routing, load calculations, and tray sizing. - Understanding fabrication processes such as sheet metal cutting, bending, welding, galvanizing, and powder coating. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 3 years of experience using PTC Creo. - Proficiency in cable tray design and related engineering principles.
