1) 2/3+ years of experience as an embedded software developer
2) Proficient in Embedded C/C++ for low-level driver and application development
3) Hands-on experience with STM32, TI MCUs, RH850, PIC32, and Microchip Harmony framework
4) Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures (8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit, ARM Cortex)
5) Peripheral configuration: SPI, UART, I2C, Timers, PWM, ADC
6) Communication protocols: CAN, RS485, MODBUS
7) Implementation of Ethernet-based communication protocols: DHCP, DNS, UDP, TCP, HTTP/HTTPS, SNTP
8) Dynamic and static IP configuration handling in embedded systems 9) Ethernet PHY configuration, link monitoring, auto-negotiation, and reconnection handling
10) Socket programming for client-server communication (TCP/UDP)
11) Integration with backend/cloud systems over Ethernet
12) Debugging Ethernet traffic and protocol issues using tools like Wireshark
13) RTOS-based firmware development (FreeRTOS, Harmony RTOS)
14) Development of in-field firmware upgrade mechanisms (bootloader over Ethernet, CAN, UART)
15) Knowledge of embedded network stack behavior during system sleep/wake or power loss conditions
16) Familiarity with embedded security concepts: encrypted communication, secure boot (if applicable)
17) Collaboration with cross-functional teams (hardware, validation, test, backend/cloud)
18) Strong documentation, debugging, and problem-solving skills
19) Working knowledge of 8D and other structured problem-resolution techniques
