Embedded Linux Platform Developer – Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and driven intern to join our Embedded Systems team as a Linux Kernel & Board Support Package (BSP) Engineer. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in embedded Linux, device drivers, and system programming. Experience with Yocto Project is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in customizing, building, and maintaining Linux kernel for embedded platforms.
• Work on Board Support Packages (BSP) for ARM-based SoCs, including bootloaders (U-Boot) and device trees.
• Develop, modify, and test Linux device drivers (GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, etc.).
• Support integration and debugging of hardware peripherals on custom boards.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of kernel, boot, and hardware bring-up issues.
• Contribute to Yocto-based build systems for embedded Linux (preferred, optional).
• Document system configurations, patches, and development procedures.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From ₹8,000.00 per month
