Embedded Engineer (3y+ Exp)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize embedded firmware for microcontrollers (primarily ESP32).
• Implement robust OTA (Over-The-Air) firmware update mechanisms.
• Write clean, maintainable code for peripherals using RTOS, ISRs, and watchdogs.
• Select electronic components and create circuit schematics as per functional and cost requirements.
• Debug and improve existing PCB designs; coordinate with hardware vendors for revisions.
• Develop communication protocols using MQTT, HTTP, and secure data handling.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to take a product from prototype to production.

Requirements

• Proven experience in end-to-end product development — from concept through prototyping to final deployment.
• Strong experience with ESP32, including:
• Watchdog timers
• Interrupt Service Routines (ISRs)
• FreeRTOS or other RTOS environments
• Practical knowledge of IoT protocols like MQTT, HTTP, WebSocket, etc.
• Ability to debug both firmware and hardware issues using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and serial debuggers.
• Familiarity with firmware update mechanisms (OTA, bootloaders, etc.)

Bonus Points

• Hands-on experience with PCB schematic design and layout tools (e.g., KiCAD, Eagle, Altium).
• Experience with battery-powered systems, power optimization, or wireless communication.
• Exposure to field deployments and post-launch support/debugging.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
