EMB Hardware engineer

As an experienced HW Design Engineer, you will be responsible for various aspects of hardware design and analysis in the digital, analog, and power domains. Your key responsibilities will include: - Strong knowledge in HW design and analysis in Digital, Analog, and power domains, including derating, thermal management, power budgeting, and power supply regulation - Experience working on high-speed designs involving interfaces like RS232/485, SPI, I2C, DDR3/2/1, PCI, SGMII, Ethernet, NAND/NOR, and USB - Design, implementation, and testing of ARM/PowerPC/x86/Soft Core processor-based systems - Analog design experience with components like op-amp, instrumentation amplifier, ADC, DAC, and filters - Familiarity with low power digital design techniques and high-efficiency power supply designs - Proficient in HW debugging, verification methods at interface level, and designing with FPGA and CPLD devices - Knowledge of component selection, RoHS compliance, and interaction with vendors for technical clarifications - Experience with Orcad and Allegro tools for schematics and PCB design - Collaboration with Mechanical, thermal, firmware, FPGA/CPLD, and Layout teams - Understanding of FMEA, Reliability analysis, and industrial standards applicable to electronic systems/products - Knowledge of electronic board manufacturing processes and hardware development lifecycle - Proficiency in using lab equipment such as Oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, Electronic load, and Logic Analyzers - Experience in EMI/EMC testing and debugging Additionally, the company values the following skills and qualities in the ideal candidate: - Capable of designing, simulating, implementing, testing, and supporting microprocessor-based automation products - Ability to work independently and lead entry-level engineers & interns in technical tasks - Strong presentation and communication skills - Self-starter, team player, multi-tasker with good time management skills - Proactive in finding ways to improve products and processes for enhancing customer experience - Knowledge of Microsoft TFS, requirements traceability tools like DOORS, etc. - Experience in designing high reliability, safety, redundant fail-safe products is a plus - Familiarity with Mentor Graphics design tools and Pspice simulation tool - Experience in developing board-level hardware for industrial control products Your expertise and skills will play a crucial role in the design and development of cutting-edge hardware solutions for the company's products.,
