Job Description

We are seeking a

Senior Software Engineer

with expertise in

software architecture, cloud computing, microservices, and DevOps practices

. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of

system design, engineering best practices, and distributed systems

to drive the development of scalable, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Architecture & Development:

Design and implement
robust, scalable, and maintainable
software solutions following
SOLID principles and design patterns
.
Develop and optimize
relational databases
(SQL, PostgreSQL) and work with
BigQuery, Redis, and Elasticsearch
when needed.
Work with
microservices architecture
and
event-driven systems
using
RabbitMQ, Google Pub-Sub
.
Implement best practices in
cloud-native application development
for
GCP (preferred) or Azure
.

DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure:

Utilize
containerization
(Docker, Kubernetes) to manage scalable services.
Implement
CI/CD pipelines
using
GitLab CI/CD
and follow DevOps best practices.
Ensure high availability and reliability in
multi-tenant distributed systems
.
Work in
Unix/Linux environments
, optimizing performance and security.

Code Quality, Testing & Security:

Follow the
Testing Pyramid
approach, ensuring automated tests at each level.
Implement and enforce
secure coding practices
using tools like
SonarQube, Checkmarx, ESLint, Resharper, Trivy
.
Maintain code quality through
code reviews, linting, and static analysis tools
.

Observability & Performance Monitoring:

Implement
observability and monitoring
solutions using
NewRelic
or similar tools.
Optimize system performance, debugging complex issues in
distributed environments
.

Collaboration & Leadership:

Work in an
Agile development environment
, following
SDLC best practices
.
Lead and mentor
junior engineers
, fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
Collaborate with
cross-functional teams
to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Extensive experience in
software development, system design, and cloud-based applications
.
Strong knowledge of
SQL, PostgreSQL
, with exposure to
BigQuery, Redis, Elasticsearch
.
Hands-on experience with
microservices, event-driven architecture, and DevOps practices
.
Proven expertise in
GCP (preferred) or Azure
cloud platforms.
Proficiency with
containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
.
Strong understanding of
code quality, testing strategies, and security best practices
.
Experience with
observability tools like NewRelic
.
Knowledge of
AdTech or Retail domain
is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and
leadership skills
to motivate and guide engineering teams.
