ELV Design Engineer

You will be responsible for designing Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, Fire Alarm, Structured Cabling, and BMS for building and infrastructure projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Prepare designs, schematics, layouts, and detailed drawings for ELV systems - Develop BOQs, technical specifications, and cost estimates - Ensure compliance with industry codes and client requirements - Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and site teams - Provide support during installation and commissioning phases - Participate in technical discussions and project meetings - Prepare documentation including reports, datasheets, and as-built drawings Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, or related field (Diploma Candidates need not apply) - Minimum 1 year of experience in ELV design - Working knowledge of AutoCAD (Revit is an advantage) - Basic knowledge of relevant codes (NFPA, BS, etc.) - Good communication and coordination skills - Ability to handle design work independently with minimal supervision Additional company details: Sumanam Engineering Services Consultant is an MEP / Building Services / Infrastructure company based in Trivandrum.,
